It'll probably appeal to all you "dental phobes" in here... But, why are teeth the body's failure? The weakest point in the body? As in, nature-either God, science, I don't care what you believe in, created the rest of the body very wisely. You get a pathogen from the air, inhaled into your body, your immune system immediately goes into action, making B-cells, memory cells, T-cells, etc. You drink a lot of alcohol one night, and the liver detoxifies it. Why is it that the teeth have no protection at all, almost?? Yes, there is the enamel and such, but why is it SO easy for bacteria to get in and cause cavities and then it leads to other horrible things like root canals, etc etc.? Why can't we have a low pH like a dog has that kills the bacteria in their mouth??? Shouldn't we have some counter-measure/protection for teeth like our body tries to protect other organs/places??? I dunno, its not a rant. I just wanna make you guys think about this stuff a little bit. =)

Wow that's true, I never thought of teeth like that before
