We are currently looking for caring, kind, dependable and personable individuals who desire to provide non-medical, in-home companionship to the elderly. Positions include Companion Caregivers and Personal Caregivers. Live-in caregivers will reside in client's home for a minimum of 2 and maximum of 5 days per week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Companionship & conversation
• Creating stimulating activities
• Light Housekeeping
• Household management
• Errands
• Apparel selection (i.e. laying out clothes)
• Meal planning & preparation
• Laundry & linen changing
• Medication reminders
• Transportation
Personal Caregiver Responsibilities:
• Walking assistance
• Eating assistance
• Bathing assistance
• Dressing assistance
• Toileting
• Monitor Alzheimer’s & Dementia clients
QUALIFICATIONS
• Good employment references
• At least 21 years old
• Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
• Ability to read, write and speak English at an average adult level
• Valid driver’s license with 3 years driving experience and no serious driving violations
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers.
