Kentfield Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant/Scheduler to join our team. The Medical Assistant/Scheduler is part of the team that provides both clinical & non clinical duties. This role performs medical and surgical assistance to the Occupational Medicine physician, performs certain clinical functions independently, maintains inventory of medications and supplies. The position also assists with all front office procedures as required in a medical office and ensures smooth patient flow in the clinic. Administratively, this position requires strong organizational skills, good interpersonal skills and familiarly with all aspects of the Occupational Health Clinic.
Qualifications:
-High school graduate or equivalent.
-Graduate of a medical assisting program preferred.
-A minimum of two years medical office experience is preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in patient scheduling in a medical environment is preferred.
-Competency with computer and Microsoft Suite programs is required. Fluent in Spanish preferred.
-Medical Assistant Certification required.
-Drug Test and Breath Alcohol Test certification preferred
-CPR certification required.
