We are introducing M Tech. and MBA programmes under DASA scheme admissions from this academic year 2011-12. The guide lines for the programme are as under.
1. Qualification required for each programme.
All candidates applying for M.Tech programme should have undergraduate degree in the required specialization or equivalent from recognized (approved by Association of IndianUniversities) institutes/universities from outside India.
2. Criteria for Merit List preparation.
Applicants to M.Tech programmes should have a valid GRE General Test scores with a minimum score of 1200 out of 1800, applicants to MBA programme should have a valid GMat score with a minimum score of 600 out of 800.
The merit list will be prepared based on GRE General Test score and on G-Mat score for M.Tech and MBA programmes respectively.
3. Fee Structure.
The proposed annual Tuition Fee will be 4000/- USD for both M.Tech and MBA programme with a processing fee of 250/- USD. Application from SAARC countries will be given 50% Tuition Fee waiver as per Government of India order. But the processing fee in case of Nepalese students paying in Indian Rupees would be 400/- USD.

ADVERTISEMENT FOR MBA ADMISSION 2011-12

Application are invited for admission to the MBA Full Time (2 years) course 2011-12

Eligibility : The candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA (55% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe), of any of the Universities incorporated in any act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutionestablished by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail aminimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidates appearing for the final examination of bachelor’s degree/ equivalent qualification can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be allowed to join the programme provisionally and will be required to submit the result/Marksheet by 31st July 2011.

Admission Procedure : Candidates applying for MBA are required to have qualified in CAT-2010. The admission to MBA will be on the basis of CAT score, Group discussion/Personal interview. Cutoff percentile and selection criteria in case of tie in CAT score shall be decided by the Institute.

Sponsored candidates will be selected through institute test/interview. Any student seekingadmission under this category shall be working on a regular post in any Govt./Semi Govt./Public Sector Units/AICTE approved Academic Institutes/Research Organizations/Public Limited Companyfor a minimum of 02 years, after graduation. The application form of such candidates should be dully forwarded by the parent organization sponsoring the candidate & stating that the candidate will be relieved from the organization for pursuing the full time MBA course.

The list of selected candidates will be made available on the institute website. All the candidates are required to visit the institute website regularly for updates. No individual information will be sent.

Reservation : The reservation (SC/ST/OBC/PH) will be as per Govt. of India norms.

Submission of Form :
The application forms completed in all respects should be submitted to Asstt. Registrar (Admission) MANIT, Bhopal-462051, by 2nd May 2011 along with non-refundable processing fees through crossed IPO/Bank Draft of Rs. 800/- for General/OBC candidates & Rs. 400/- for SC/ST candidates payable to “Director, MANIT, Bhopal”. The application form can be down loaded from MANIT website www.manit.ac.in or can be collected from admission section, MANIT, by paying Rs.100/- through IPO/Bank draft payable to “Director, MANIT, Bhopal” or through post by sending a self addressed A4 size envelope with IPO/Bank Draft of Rs. 100/- payable to “MANIT, Bhopal”.
