Admission for BLISc 2011 Batch

Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, Kochi has invited applications for the one year Bachelor of Library and Information Science [B.L.I.Sc.] course for the year 2011-12. Apart from M G University syllabus the programme includes certificate courses in Communicative English, Information Technology and training programmes in various reputed library and Information Centers. The School of Library & Information Science is taking special interest in the placement of the students also.


The eligibility for applying this course is any degree with minimum 45% marks. Application forms can be had from college office for Rs 100/- or by sending a demand draft for Rs. 150/- in favor of The Principal, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, Ernakulam along with self addressed stamped envelop.

The last date for receiving filled in application form is 30th May.


Interview and test will be on 6th June and 1st semester Class starts on 18th July 2011.

ADMISSION NOTIFICATION

MCA (Master of Computer Application)
Applications are invited for a three year full time MCA (Master of Computer Application) course, affiliated to MG University, Kottayam and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Eligibility
A Bachelors degree recognized by MG university with Mathematics is as one of the subjects in Degree level or plus two level.
Admission on the basis of rank scored in the ASTIK exam and the interview conducted by the College.

Admission Procedure
Candidate should appear for the Entrance Examination conducted by Association of Self Financing Technology Institutions of Kerala. Entrance Application form can be collected from the College office on payment of Rs.500/- The filled in Application form should be only sent to the Admission Officer, Association of Self Finance Technology (MCA) Institute in Kerala, SCMS campus, Prathap Nagar, Muttam, Kerala, Kochi – 683106 before 14th May, 2011.
Candidate should submit a separate filled in application form issued by Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, Kalamassery, along with attested mark sheet, certificate of degree.
Application form can be downloaded or can be directly obtained from the College Office on payment of Rs.300/-. The downloaded application can be sent along with the DD for Rs.300/- in favour of The Principal, Rajagiri College of Social Sciences payable at Ernakulam.
