Occupational Therapist - School-based (TriBeCa, United States)

Looking for a warm, creative, playful occupational therapist to work 8:30a.m. until 2:30p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at an elementary school for gifted children with learning differences opening this September. Additional or alternative availability from 10:30a.m. until 11:30a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays a plus. All candidates must has a BS/BA or MS degree from an accredited school recognized by the American Occupational Therapy Association, as well as an active NYS license and experience working in a school-based setting. Responsibilities include providing direct treatment (both push-in and pull-out), maintaining appropriate treatment records and progress reports, participation in weekly staff meetings, facilitation of daily exercise period (for all students), and advising staff re: equipment/adaptations/strategies to facilitate learning.
