Emergency Reproductive Health Manager. The emergency RH manager will report to the emergency health advisor. The post holder will lead the reproductive health component of the emergency response – including doing rapid assessment, designing program strategy and monitoring system, provision of leadership in the start-up and technical quality of the programmatic components in safe motherhood, family planning, and gender-based violence, represent the agency in the reproductive health taskforce at national level, and documentation (proposal/concept paper writing, situation reports, progress report).
Midwife or Medical doctor preferably with postgraduate qualification in public health and minimum 3-5 years international field experience in emergency situations. High skills and experience in Safe motherhood, family planning and GBV programming in crisis situation in minimum 2-3 crisis situations/countries. Proven experience of living and working in insecure environments, able to follow security guidelines. Experience of writing donor proposals, and reports with various donors and understanding of the logframe or results framework.. Fluency in written and spoken English. Fluency in French – strongly desirable. Good interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, excellent communication skills and the ability to lead, train and inspire a team and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, and build relationships at all levels.
