01. M.B.B.S. Degree Programme / 02. B.D.S. Degree Programme
Eligibility: Any candidate who is a Citizen of India with the following Academic Qualification can apply.
Pass in Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) of Tamil Nadu with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually or an equivalent examination with (a) A minimum of 50% aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes are however eligible if they have 40% aggregate marks taken together in the Physics, Chemistry and Biology and have passed the examination in those subjects as well as in English.

03. B.P.T. Degree programme
Eligibility: A pass in H.Sc. (Academic) with (Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Botany / Zoology) and English Examination or equivalent examinations accepted by the Annamalai University.

04. B.Sc.(Nursing) Degree/ 07. Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery Programme Eligibility: H.Sc. Exams (12 yrs. course) (or) Senior School Certificate exams. (10 + 2) Pre-degree exams. (10 + 2) (or) any equivalent with 12 yrs. schooling from a recognised Board or University with Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) and English with a minimum of 46% aggregate marks (PCBE). For SC/ST: 40% of aggregate marks in PCBE. Unmarried Female Candidates only are Eligible.


Age Limit: For MBBS / BDS / BPT the candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2011 For B.Sc.lNursing) and Diploma in General Nursing S Midwifery programmes should have completed 17 years of Age and should not over 30 years and for SC/ST: 35 Years of Age as on 31.12.2011. No request for relaxation of the age will be entertained.
Candidates who wish to apply for MBBS/BDS/BPT/B.Sc. Nursing will have to appear compulsorily for the common Entrance Examinations, Conducting by the University which is to be held on 8" May 2011. Others need not apply tor these programmes.

05. M.P.T. Degree Programme
Eligibility: Candidates seeking admission into MPT Degree Programme must have acquired the B.P.T. Degree of Annamalai University (or) a Degree of any other University

06. M.Sc. (Nursing) Degree Programme Eligibility:
(i) Candidates seeking admission into M.Sc. (Nursing] Degree Programme must have passed B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. [Hons. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) with minimum of 55% aggregate marks, (for SC/ST candidates minimum of 50% of marks of aggregate marks).
(ii) Candidate should have undergone B.Sc. (Nursing! / B.Sc. (Hons. Nursing) / Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) in an institution which is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.
(iii) Minimum 1 year of work experience after Basic B.Sc. (Nursing).
{iv} Minimum 1 yearofworkexperiencepriororafterPostBasicB.se.(Nursing).
(v) Candidates shall be Medically fit.

08. & 09. Certificate Programmes in Dental Mechanics/ Dental Hygienists
Eligibility: A pass in Xth Std. with an aggregate of 50% marks along with pass in English language or an equivalent recognised qualification.

Age Limit: The candidates should have completed the age of 15 years as on 31 st December 2011.

Age Limit: For MBBS/BDS the candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December 2011. For BSc (N) and Diplona GNM should have completed 7 years of age and should not over 30 years and for sc/st 35 years of age as on 31-12-2011. No request for relaxation of the age will be entertained.

Candidates who wish to apply MBBS/BDS/ BPT/ BSc (N) will have to appear compulsory for the common Entrance Examinations, Conducting by the University which is to be held on 8th May 2011. Others need not apply for these programmes.

MPT: Candidates seeking admission into MPT must have acquired the BPT degree of Annamalai University or Degree of any other university recognised as equivalent to by this university.

MSc (N): Candidates seeking admission in to this programme must have BSc (N), (Hons. N), Post Basic BSc (N) with minimum of 55% aggregate marsks (for sc/st candidates minimum of 50% of marks of aggregate marks).
Candidates should have undergone BSc (N), B.Sc (Hons. N), Post Basic N), in an institution which is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience after Basic B.Sc (N)
Candidates shall be Medically fit.
Minimum 1 year of work experience prior or after Post Basic B.Sc. (N).

Cerificate PRogrammes in Dental Mechanics / Dental HYgienists: A pass in Xth Std. with an aggregate of 50% of marks along with pass in English language or an equivalent recognised qualification.
