ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
(a) M. Sc. in Bio-Technology:
Any person who has passed the qualifying degree examination specified in the Table given below with a minimum of 45% of marks in the aggregate or in the honours subject for the candidates belonging to the general category (a minimum of 40% of marks in the aggregate or a minimum of 45% in the honours subjects for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes).
(b) M. Sc. in Geophysics: Any person who has passed the qualifying degree examination as specified in Table given below with a minimum of 45 % of marks in aggregate or in honours (a minimum of 40% of marks in the aggregate or a minimum of 45% of marks in the honours subject for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes) is eligible for consideration of admission.
(c) M. Tech. in Electronic Information Systems:
Any person with a Master’s Degree or B.E/B.Tech. Degree with the subjects mentioned in the Table given below with at least 50 % of marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade point.
(d) M. Pharm.
Any person with a B. Pharm. Degree from an Institution duly recognised by the competent authority with at least 50% of marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade point
(e) M.F.C.
Any person who has passed the qualifying degree examination as specified in Table given below with a minimum of 50 % of marks in aggregate or in honours (a minimum of 45% of marks in the aggregate or in the honours subject for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes) is eligible for consideration of admission.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS FOR ADMISSION
Candidates seeking admission into the different courses shall have to send their applications in the prescribed form duly filled in by them in their handwriting along with the required documents and fee (complete in all respects) to the Course Coordinator to which admission is sought by Registered/ Speed Post. The application forms will not be accepted in person, either in the P.G. Central Office or by the Course coordinator. The application along with the required documents and fee must reach the Course Coordinator on or before the prescribed date, i.e., May 24, 2011, failing which it will be summarily rejected. However, candidates seeking admission into M.Pharm. course are permitted to submit the attested copies of Mark Sheets
and Provisional Certificates of B.Pharm. Examination within 15 (fifteen) days from the date of publication of the Final B.Pharm. Examination Results, 2011 of the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT).
