I have had the same issue described here http://in.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100605083943AAQnOWQ and in other places on yahoo answers...bottom half of my teeth are white...top half is stained yellow...I have a few theories as to what this might me, but I am not sure which one is most likely dental Dental Fluorisis (I dont know what our towns regulations on tap water were, but I have lived in the same town my whole life), I have also used flouridtated toothpaste almost all my life usually colgate or crest but always the anticavity kind. tetracycline stain....I don't know about this one...but I had a lie threatening reaction to this med where my brain swelled, but I asked my dentist about the stains and she said since I was 15 when I had this, it could not have happened....it happens on young kids with developing teeth.. I probably got in the 100's of ear infections ever since I was under 2.....I got them all the time and still do sometimes....but from ages like 2-10 I had A TON..I heard somewhere I think on yahoo answers that an ear infection when u are little can cause these permanantly..some of mine were bad and had accompanying fever... ok now the last one please no judgements, my mom is the most gentle wonderful caring person in the world, loves me till the world ends and we laugh about this today but now I am wondering. When little kids misbehaved it was more common 20+ years ago to get a bar of soap in their mouth. my mom skipped the bar and went straight to the liquid dial...I was a devil I'm surprised today that she still has fingers lol....but I know dial uses triclosan....and it is also a "yellow" color....I dont remember how long she did it for but probably a couple or a few years. not that people go eating dial regularly...but does anyone know if it can cause the stains I am referring to?? the one thing that is unfortunate is I have no clue how long I've had the stains, its just something that was noticed one day....
