We adopted our Beagle, Cali, 2 months ago so now she is 4months, She is a fun loving dog, already potty trained, she knows how to sit, stay, shake, high five, roll over.. however when she is by herself she barks like crazy, and she wont stay outside to play by herself either. When my sister brings her dog around she is so happy and goes and plays outside forever! So we just found out that Cali's "dad" had new puppies and we were debating on adopting her "step-brother" and if we did the new puppy would be 2months when we got him and she would then be 6months, are they too young to get them that close in age? would it help with her being by herself and stop barking? I will be going to Dental Hygiene school in the fall 8hrs/day and my husband works full time. My 2 yr old son will be home with cali and possibly the other dog while my mother watches him but she doesnt want to "care for" the puppies (she will just feed and let them outback) What do ya'll think?

Beagles like to have companions... We had 6 beagles all brothers and sisters.. We ran deer with them.. But yea they barked all the time even when they were together.. they just bark.. Getting another puppy would be a great idea! No they're not to young..
