well im gonna ask my mom if until we find the owner of the dog or find it a home. It needs MAJOR! dentals work , her teeth look like they have been cut in half (no joke you can see the inside of her tooth) and her little teeth are barely there and i cantell it hurts her, sowe are wetting her food so it dosent but i need to know how much dental work would be along with getting her check over. because i dont knowhow long its gonna be before we find her home and i want her to be takin care of.

Unfortunately, dental work is DEFINITELY not cheap. I would strongly recommend taking the dog to the Vet. It may well be that you might not want to "look too hard" to find the owner at all. Often, sheered off teeth are a sign that the dog has been kept in a small cage for a long time. They end up biting at the bars/chain links out of boredom, eventually sheering off their teeth. Tooth replacements are incredibly expensive, though often not necessary. Only a veterinarian can tell you whether the tooth wear is normal (as on an older dog) or something else. Only they can tell you if any dental work will be necessary. For the price of a check-up, it's worth it just to have her checked out. Good luck!
