I am a Canadian resident for one. So our health care is awesome, what I need to know is how much pain would a person have to be in, in order for someone to help. because at some point they will have to help. My boyfriend has a tooth that's actually SPLIT in half, so he's missing half his tooth, and he's had it for awhile, plus many other cavities and chipped teeth. we are extremely poor, or we most certainly would have attempted to get it fixed. He's been using Anbesol to numb the pain the problem we have now is that we're running out of it, and we don't have the cash to even buy another bottle. I heard about dental schools but there's none around our area that we could go to. I really need to know if it is a possibility to try and have someone fix it because it's basically an emergency now, he can't function because the pain is so great. And for those of you who may be curious as to how his teeth got so bad, try to imagine living off of $20 a month basically, we don't have the luxury to buy the things that most people would consider normal and practical. Yes it's gross.. but it's life and yes i hate it too. Thanks to anyone in advance, any suggestions for this is appreciated!

Canada also has an awesome welfare system. If you are that poor go to the welfare office and they will get him the dental care he needs for free~
