All of our teachers receive paid training and ongoing support to build their teaching, presenting, and mentoring skills. The experience you develop presenting, both from training and from teaching, will be a significant asset that may enhance your resume if applying for teaching positions in the healthcare field. You are encouraged to commit as much time as you have available. Our course schedules are varied and plentiful.

The Kaplan Centre that oversees MCAT, PCAT and DAT prep courses in your area has the following openings:


Part-Time MCAT, PCAT and DAT Instructors (6 – 20 hrs/wk)
• Our minimum score requirements is within the 90 percentile (or higher) for any test that you would like to teach for us.
• You are encouraged to score qualify at a Kaplan Centre if your official score dates back more than five years.
• Classes are held in our centres as well as throughout the community. Willingness to travel preferred, but not necessary.
• No teaching experience is necessary (although it is preferred). We will train you to be an excellent instructor. Prep and training are paid.
• You should be a great presenter, a believer in the effectiveness of Kaplan’s methods, a caring and compassionate mentor of students, and a responsible employee.

Rates change based on success in the classroom: teach like a superstar and we’ll treat you like one. Additionally, there is a full-time career track for Kaplan teachers interested in investing themselves fully. Please be prepared to commit to Kaplan for at least 6-12 months.
