A few years ago I went to a dentist for some work, I was referred by my sister but I went to the wrong office and hated the dentist and decided not to get my bridge there, especially since they had terrible reviews online and pulled the same tricks of quoting one price and changing it on me, so I left. They immediately put my account into collections for over $1000 dollars!! I filed a claim with the insurance company and the headquarter of their branch, they reviewed and sent me a letter stating that they determined I didn't owe anything. Every year it goes back to collections and ruins my credit, i have to send letters to the bureaus, the collectors etc and it jacks my rate on my credit card and is a big hassle as the fees have doubled. I contacted them and they're making up a whole new story that doesn't add up and my records don't support to justify charging me. I'm really fed up, they are big time crooks and nasty to deal with. Can I take them to small claims court? I don't know if that makes sense since they don't owe me money but I want to do something legally so they stop messing my credit and harassing me for dental work I never got (to this day I don't have a bridge and they have no proof they provided me with any of the care they are charging me for). What can I do??? This is in CA.

Like the others, i have to say call a lawyer and get a free consultation. they're stealing ur money.
