I'm really torn right now. My whole life I've always said I wanted to go into medicine or dentistry. I said this for so long I really thought that's what I wanted to do. Now in reality I just chose these options because my family members are either doctors or dentists and I knew they got paid. I've been through 1 year of college and have been taking the required courses. At this point it seems as if I would be able to get into medical or dental school based on my performance in school as long as I keep it going. The thing is I'm sort of just dragging myself through them and while I get through college courses no sweat, dental and med school are no joke. I don't know if I really have the passion to get through it. What I do like about those two fields is that I get to interact with and help people feel and become better. However, you can apply this to lots of other careers. My true passion in life is exercise and fitness. I absolutely love training people and working out myself. However, being a personal trainer doesn't pay much money. I've never really cared about being rich or even that well off but I would like to be comfortable, have time to spend with my family, and maybe a few nice things. Most of my wealthy relatives are rather miserable people so I've decided it's probably fine not to go down that road. What options are good for me and should I just choose to go into dentistry or medicine because it can provide the lifestyle I'm looking for but with some extra cash on top of it?

I would go to med school then specialize in sports related areas of medicine.
