DENTIST TOLD ME TO REMOVE 4 TEETH!!!!?

Hello im Maria 22 years old and i leave in Slovakia. Its very hard to find a good dentist here. The most of them care only about the money.. So i went to my last dentist before 1 week because i had extremely strong toothache , she removed me 1 wisdom tooth and the tooth next to and she told me that i have to remove 2 more and started talking about crowns ,bridges and staff..anyway i believe she doesnt have good intentions. I have the dental x-ray and i really need to send it to some proffesional to tell me hes opinion... i really dont want to remove my teeth.. :( please someone....

Why don't you scan and post those x-rays and we can give you some actual advice. Sometimes it's necessary to remove teeth and sometimes it isn't. Impossible to tell without either seeing you or at the very least your x-rays. Thanks for posting the xray. Okay, take a look here: http://users.forthnet.gr/ath/abyss/FDI%2… This is the tooth numbering I'm going to use and it will correspond with your xray. On the xray tooth number 18, 36 are missing. This is one wisdom tooth on the top right and the first molar on the bottom left (left in your mouth, not on the picture). I can tell you two teeth are abscessed, 26 and 47. There are cavities on 28, 46 and 48. I assume that she has removed 47 and 48? If you were my patient I would pull 28, 47, 48 and possibly 26. The first three cannot be saved. Two of them are wisdom teeth and you don't need them. 47 has decay under the gums and treatment will not guarantee a good outcome. 26 is a bit on the fence, I would need to see your tooth, but it may very well be decayed too much to save. So in essence, yes I think you will need to remove 4 teeth in total. To replace 26 you have the option of a bridge, implant or partial denture. Implant being the best choice, but also the most expensive. You would also need a crown on 46 to fix the decay before it's too late. In a perfect world your front teeth and premolar with root canals would also be crowned. I'm sorry to say, but there is quite a bit of work on your teeth. If you don't get it done then I'm afraid, it's going to be more pulling teeth in the future. You are way too young for this many cavities, root canals, fillings, etc. Please see a dental hygienist and have her go over oral hygiene and nutrition with you. It doesn't have to be like this forever.
