I dont understand why someone would want to sit on their a.r.s.e all day and do nothing taking other peoples money, they get their rent, council tax, dental, prescriptions, childrens school dinners, loads more all paid for by the tax payer Have they no self respect, do they not care what others think about them, yes there are genuine cases but most are on it for a free ride and it winds me up We are hard working people and have to pay for everything, were not entitled to any WFTC and its not that we earn a fortune... we dont but those that dont work get friggin everything handed to them on a plate

First, I can't believe how many people answered this question, and didn't read it. You obviously said that you understand some people have a legitimate reason for accepting these handouts, and it's obvious that some people didn't read it! I agree with you 100%. If you don't have a choice in the matter, fine. But I am sick to my stomach of paying high taxes so some freakin' sorry-*** bum can sit on his dead ***, watch TV, smoke crack and eat all day at MY expense. It's absurd. You're exactly correct, they have no self-respect. Welfare programs are way too lenient, and should be more responsibly handed out. There are legitimate reasons for it, but it is very, very much abused.
