how can i stop my dad from hitting me?

im 16 and sometimes he hits me he makes me go to work if i dont he goes bannanas and he starts to break my stuff 2 years ago he broke my ps2 cuz i didnt work with him sometimes when im bad he hits me really hard today he grabbed my throat and scareched my neck and the scratch is about 4 inches long really deep(not deep enough for a stich) he also slapped me behind the back several times my mom doesnt care she lets him do it to teach me a lesson i am getting sick and tired of bieng treated this way. i told my dad i will call the cops on u if u do it again then he beat the crap out of me(again) please help me what should i do i dont want my dad to hit me or force me to go to work with him in the weekends please im crying everytime he hits i cant take this anymore! WHAT SHOULD I DO!??!?!!? i dont want to move out i love my mom and dad i just want my dad to stop hurting me sometimes when something goes wrong i dont wanna move out i just dont want problems with my parents P.S. i need my parents to get me into college and dental school so i cant move out besides i love them no matter what they do to me
