Am I the only one confused about who to vote for?

It seems to me that both parties, Democrat and Republican, have dedicated this election to confusing the American voters. Between all of the lies, blames, self-contradictions, personal/family stabs, and name calling, it seems that we are in a "Damned if I do/Damned if I don't" situation when it comes down to who to vote for. Both sides seem to me, to equally share faults, and promise. Who is for the poor, the disabled, the elderly, and the Americans that are burdened with decisions like - how do I get health/medical/dental/life insurance, when I can't even afford medications, or gas, to go get medications? Why give tax breaks to American companies that send jobs overseas? What is 'pork', is this just special individual interest? How can we trust millionaires running our country to help the poor, when they don't have to worry about clothing, feeding, protecting, and just plain providing for their families? We pay taxes, that pay the American leaders salaries, don't we? It seems like we are providing our leaders with "The life of Riley", at the expense of not being able to provide for our own loved ones. Is there 'anyone' in this Yahoo community that can honestly, and sincerely explain this to me? Also, I would appreciate that "all" individuals who just want to be smarta##es and don't know what they are talking about, refrain from any remarks. Plus, I could care less about skin color, as I feel that this election should not be decided racially!!

Maybe these facts will help you decide What party used to buy and sell African Americans ? …Democrats. What party fought to end slavery ?…Republicans. What party refused to allow you to vote ?.....Democrats What party changed that law so you can vote now?..….Republicans What party where those that made segregated schools, refused to let you ride in the front seats on buses made you drink from "colored" drinking fountains and burned crosses in your front yards etc ? .....Democrats What party brought an end to all of that ?........ Republicans What party was the Reverend Martin Luther King a member of…..Republican Proof here, http://www.nationalblackrepublicans.com/… What party was Martin Luther King fighting against to gain rights for YOU AND ALL AFRICAN AMERICANS …….yes my friend, he was fighting the DEMOCRATS!! What party keeps reporting this answer trying to keep you from seeing the truth ? Democrats. Barack Obama turned his back on Martin Luther King and sold out to those that would still prevent you from even having the right to vote if REPUBLICANS had not stopped them. Will you sell out on Mr. King also ? So are you now going to vote for the party that only stopped doing all those things because the REPUBLICAN party FORCED them to stop and would still be doing all of it today if the republicans did not make them stop ? When you think I am just digging into the past you might want to use your head long enough to realize that you would still be slaves and unable to vote TODAY if the REPUBLICANS had not fought the battle for you.
