My wisdom teeth have been coming through now for about 6 years!! and I think have been infected 5 times, give me allot of pain and are also pushing all my teeth wonky. I went to my dentist unhappy with this and was told that I should use a stronger mouthwash to try and prevent more infections and he didn't seem to give a toss about the rest of it. I explained it makes eating very difficult, gives me headaches and ear ache and the fact it's moving my other teeth out of shape but again he just didn't seem to care. I've had enough and want the things OUT!!!! what can I say to get him to refer me. I'm with the NHS so cant just request it. He said if I come back with another infection he might refer me to the Dental Hospital but I've been told this before.

could you try another nhs dentist? try your local primary care trust, they will have a list of local nhs dentists.
